At Eccolo Media, Alice brings her talent to the creation of a wide range of collateral: white papers, case studies, brochures, Web copy, solutions briefs, as well as internal and client-facing business and sales presentations. Though Alice has broad knowledge of a variety of technologies, she currently specializes in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, open source, middleware, and Software as a Service (SaaS).
Alice began her career as an IT journalist, authoring hundreds of articles on all aspects of enterprise computing for national publications including ComputerWorld, Forbes ASAP, BusinessWeek, PC World, and Discover Magazine. In her work as a marketing writer, she has crafted copy for some of the world’s largest technology brands, including IBM, Oracle, HP, Sun, Symantec, Palm, and Microsoft.
The author of six books, Alice’s most recent work is Method and Madness: A Norton Guide to Creative Writing, published by W.W. Norton & Company. She holds a BA in Rhetoric and an MBA in Finance from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Alice has also been awarded the Stanford University Wallace Stegner Fellowship and has twice won the Stanford University Computer Press Award.
