At Eccolo Media, Penny specializes in writing thought-provoking white papers. She also manages collateral development projects that include technology articles, case studies, brochures, web copy, newsletters, and direct marketing pieces. Penny’s primary areas of expertise include enterprise software, hardware, and IT services
Prior to Eccolo, Penny worked for Software AG, where she held management positions within the sales, vertical marketing, product marketing, and corporate alliances groups, eventually becoming the company’s Director of Corporate Alliances. In 1998, Penny left Software AG after ten years of service and began to focus exclusively on marketing collateral creation for the technology industry. Her clients have included renowned organizations such as Adobe, Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Sun, and Xerox.
Penny has won an American Marketing Association award for marketing strategy, execution, and collateral development. She holds a BS in Information Systems from Salisbury State University, and is fluent in German with certification from the Goethe-Institut.
What's your biggest guilty pleasure? My daily dose of dark chocolate!
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? The Alsace region of France—for the great food and wine!
When you're not at work, what are you likely to be doing? Hiking, mountain biking, running, playing Frisbee with the kids, and reading.
